Groundskeeper, Sr. jobs in Santa Maria, CA

Job Summary:
We are located on a beautiful ranch where we host weddings and events. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Groundskeeper/Maintenance to join our team. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of our outdoor areas. For maintenance and upkeep, someone with experience with irrigation and fountains would be highly desired as well. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Duties:
- Perform general groundskeeping tasks to maintain the cleanliness and attractiveness of the property
- Mow, edge, and fertilize lawns
- Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges to ensure they are well-maintained
- Plant flowers, trees, and other plants as needed
- Irrigate lawns and gardens to ensure proper hydration
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Remove weeds, leaves, and debris from outdoor areas
- Assist with landscape maintenance projects as directed

Requirements:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques and landscaping principles
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
