Group Branch Manager manages the financial and service performance of a defined group of retail branches in a geographic area. Establishes the strategy, specific goals, and performance levels required for each branch to meet the organizational objectives for the region. Being a Group Branch Manager monitors and analyzes financial and customer activity to understand needs, identify issues, and provide the tools and resources needed to achieve goals. Leads business development and promotional activities in the area and coaches branch managers in tactics to build customer relationships, increase sales, and enhance the bank's presence in the community. Additionally, Group Branch Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Group Branch Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Group Branch Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What you'll do


    As the Branch Manager for Royal Truck Body (A Shyft Group Brand) based in Charlotte, MI, you will be the primary point of contact for the branch, and manage all aspects of the operations of the operations including without limitation the profits and losses of the branch.

    You will also be accountable for overseeing all branch activities in the areas of inside sales, purchase order and parts order tracking, warranties, status reporting, customer service, and issues resolution.

    You will also be accountable for:

    • Providing impeccable customer service to internal and external customers
    • Ensuring that product standards will exceed customers’ expectations
    • Handling warranty matters, generating status reports, and resolving issues
    • Assisting with drafting and creating the branch’s operation plans
    • Overseeing the Annual Operation Plan budget) for the company and the branch
    • Verifying chassis releases and ensuring quotes have been signed-off on by a RTB representative
    • Partnering with HR to distribute and ensure proper completion-of new hire documents
    • Relaying employee concerns and policy interpretation to HR to be addressed
    • Providing recommendations in support of team and organizational goals
    • Alerting management about safety or other concern
    • Initiating plans and processes that minimize manufacturing costs
    • Effectively utilize manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital
    • Assuring attainment of business objectives and productions schedules
    • Handling other miscellaneous projects as assigned

    What you need to be successful

    • Education: High School Diploma or GED, 4 year degree or equivalent, business or related field
    • Prior Experience: 5 or more years of managerial experience and 5 or more years’ experience in a high production and/or sales environment, minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing preferred
    • Computer Skills: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and working knowledge of MRP system strongly preferred
    • Technical Skills: Dedicated and proven leader, able to work closely with all business functions
    • Industry-Specific Knowledge: Automotive, Custom Truck Body or Manufacturing Industry
    • Preferred: Strong leadership skills and independent
    • Language Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
    • Other: High energy level required
