Group/Region Manager (Commercial Loans) jobs in Ann Arbor, MI

Lotus Home Loans is looking for a licensed loan officer to join our finance team. This position requires strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as technical knowledge of financial instruments and real estate analysis. A mortgage loan officer will evaluate, authorize approval or deny application for clients. You will act as a liaison between customers and financial institutions and you will help qualify acquired loans.

Responsibilities:

• Selling new residential mortgage loans as well as refinancing existing residential mortgages
• Work with customers to evaluate qualifications for loans such as financial status and documents including their credit, employment, income, assets and property to ensure they qualify for financing
• Advise and educate clients on the home-buying or refinance process and how to better manage their mortgage as well as assist them through the loan process from application to closing including resolving any client concerns

Job Duties:

• Maintain the proper knowledge for various loan products (VA, FHA, Conventional, Jumbo, etc.), and be familiar with various client scenarios to ensure a loan qualifies, and have knowledge of various lenders on how they can be the best option for your client
• Partner with loan processor(s) to review financial documentation to ensure accuracy prior to submitting to lender
• Build and maintain portfolio, provide consistent updates, educate the client on the mortgage process, and be the overall main point of contact throughout the life of the loan

Qualifications:

• Active NMLS and state licenses
• Solid time management skills and the ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to analyze and comprehend complex financial data and provide financial alternatives
• Sales experience is preferred, but not required

Pay: $80,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year
