Group/Region Manager (Commercial Loans) manages commercial lending activity for a designated market of the organization. Establishes and manages lending objectives, targets, strategies, and practices to achieve organizational financial, growth, and service goals. Being a Group/Region Manager (Commercial Loans) seeks out new business opportunities and develops strategies to expand existing business. Manages the maintenance and servicing of existing commercial loan portfolio.     Job Description

    Work Schedule: Must be flexible for daytime and early evening shifts Monday through Saturday.
    Basic Function: Responsible for the daily operations of a loan office. These daily functions include but are not limited to serving customers by providing product and service information in a warm and friendly manner, approving, and collecting loans, making phone calls, cash handling and filing. Managing employees to perform the aforementioned functions.

    Principal Responsibilities:

    • Provide Customer Service
    • Supervise office staff
    • Solicit for new or renewed customer business
    • Loan Processing.
    • Collections
    • Have a good understanding of all State and Federal regulations
    • Some Marketing
    • Receive payments and post to customer accounts
    • Maintain cash drawer accuracy and security •
    • Ensure proper handling of office deposits
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal lending regulations and company policies
    • Ensure prompt completion of applications
    • Development and direct branch personnel
    • Minimize delinquency through collection activities utilizing telephone, mail, and home visits
    • Ensure compliance with company policy procedures
    • Ensure reporting of branch figures to corporate office for accounting purposes
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Monitor and assist in the training of Sales Associates so their development meets prescribed Liberty Loans standards
    • Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
    • Evaluate store financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting
    • Provide the highest level of customer service over the phone and in person, while also serving as a resource to current and potential customers
    • Manage overall operation of Branch Office including all phases of lending, collecting, and direction of office staff.
    • Follow all State and Federal Laws and guidelines as required.

    • Minimum of one (3) year of customer service experience required.
    • Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
    • Minimum of 4 years management of a financial institute.
    • Technical aptitude, problem solving skills.

    Physical Requirements

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, and hear.
    • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
    • The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms
    • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
    • The work is performed primarily in an office setting
    • The noise level in the work environment is moderate
