Description
Burgos Group is currently seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager to work on a Federal heavy civil engineering project at Fort Johnson, LA. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager to ensure that our services meet all necessary client requirements.
· Continuously review quality control processes, procedures and capabilities in order to sustain the most cost effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements;
· Make recommendations for improvement as appropriate;
· Review client QC requirements and ensure that quality control documentation for the project meets contractual requirements;
· Review and approve Contractor and sub-contractor quality control documentation to ensure their planned activities meet contractual requirements;
· Understand client needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes;
· Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis;
· Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives;
· Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures requirements.
Requirements
· Proven experience as Construction Quality Control Manager
· Must be able to pass a Federal background check and all pre-employment requirements
· Conscientious and responsible
· A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach
· Outstanding communication skills
· Excellent organizational and leadership skills
· Proficient in MS Office
· In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
· A graduate engineer, graduate architect, or a graduate of construction management, with a minimum of five years construction quality control or a minimum of ten years construction experience, of which a minimum of five years’ experience must be in construction quality control on construction
· 1 year experience with RMS
