Milan Hotel Group is a privately owned fully integrated hotel ownership, development, and operating company based in Asheville, NC. We currently own and operate 7 hotels in Asheville, representing 664 keys and over 7500 square feet of meeting space. Our company is continuously expanding in the Asheville area with several more projects in the pipeline.

Role Description:

We are seeking a full-time, above property Sales Manager to handle the Social & SMERF segments for our portfolio of 7 hotels. This position would work on site in our corporate office in Biltmore Village and report to the Area Director of Sales.

The primary responsibilities of the Social/SMERF Sales Manager position will include: responding in a timely manner to inbound leads, managing sales activities in STS/ProposalPath, working closely with Director of Revenue Management to qualify business and maximize revenue, and communicating definite bookings with Hotel Management teams.

The successful candidate will be able to achieve sales targets, drive guest satisfaction for group blocks, have excellent communication and customer service skills, and be able to prioritize workload in a fast paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications:

• Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment in response to company growth and needs.
• Experience in social and/or SMERF segments
• Multi-tasking skills to manage multiple hotels and bookings at the same time
• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with Hotel management team, Hotel ownership, and Corporate team
• Demonstrated customer service skills to ensure that clients receive an excellent experience
• Successful experience in closing sales to achieve sales targets
• Good understanding of sales management principles and practices, including sales tracking and reporting
• Experience with Marriott, Choice, and/or IHG properties and systems is preferred
