What We Look for In Our Group Fitness Manager: 
 

• Experience leading and managing a team
• Team oriented individual with outgoing personality
• Organized
• Service minded
• Professional
• Be willing to go above and beyond
• Efficient and effective communication skills
• Experience teaching classes for clients of all levels 
• Ability to travel
• Valid CPR Certification
• Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification:  AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred

Some responsibilities of our Group Fitness Manager:

• Responsible for elevating all class counts to an acceptable number and submitting class

counts for each club they oversee

• Responsible for weekly reports and monthly reports for each club they oversee

• Responsible for all Group Fitness classes being assigned, covered, and represented

professionally, by Group Fitness professionals

• Responsible for ensuring that all Group Fitness classes are taught by a Corporately trained

and certified instructor.

• Responsible for ensuring that all certification workshops and regional trainings are held and

populated

• Responsible for all counseling of instructors for their designated area, to include but not

limited to written warnings, disciplinary actions, terminations, etc. Responsible for ensuring

that all are handled timely, professionally, and in accordance with federal, state and company guidelines.

• Responsible for recruiting and auditioning each instructor prior to hiring.
• Responsible for putting the quarterly and holiday schedules together along with new format

launches

• Required to be able to teach/ sub all class formats.
