The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of
Group Rooms Program Manager within the department of
Strategic Initiatives and Business Development. The UEE division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives. As part of the event management role, the division is responsible for the planning and execution of a wide range of University events from Commencement to concerts and special events on football game weekends. The division is a major contributor of revenue to the University's mission and employs the largest number of staff on campus with over 1,200 full-time, part-time, temporary, and on-call staff.

Why this position?
The Group Rooms Manager will report directly to the Revenue Manager for University Enterprises and Events (UEE) and will work closely with the Hospitality, Events, and the Business Development teams to ensure that all Group Room Blocks at the Morris Inn are managed to provide high client satisfaction and maximize revenue through the Morris Inn. In addition, the Group Rooms Manager will work directly with our clients to plan and execute all aspects of their group room blocks at the Morris Inn which includes, but is not limited to: room type set up, billing, rooming list management, monitoring of cut off dates and gathering all pertinent information from the clients (with the typical volume being around 350 room blocks per year). The Group Rooms Manager will approve all group requests from Business Development before contract signing to help maximize occupancy and the average daily rate (ADR) at the Morris Inn.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree or up to 3 years of college or technical school
- Hotel experience is necessary, with a minimum of 2 years experience in the hospitality field
- Familiarity with Revenue Management/Hotel Inventory Management software
- Experience working with Excel, pivot tables, and Tableau
