Ensures concierge services help guests with reservations, travel arrangements, and suggestions for attractions or activities. Being a Guest Services Manager coaches concierge staff in customer service, and handles escalated customer service issues as needed. Monitors staff scheduling and shifts. Additionally, Guest Services Manager coordinates with hotel departments to deliver customer satisfaction and resolve problems. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Guest Services Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Guest Services Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Guest Services Inc. is seeking a Special Events Manager that has a customer-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates must display great leadership, excellent customer service, and attention to detail.
This position starts at $18.00 to $19.00/hr.
Locations include St. Andrews State Park in Panama City all the way down to Flamingo Adventures in South Florida and a few places in between. Although most of the work would be in North Florida, candidates will need to be willing to travel to other locations the rest of the time.

JOB SUMMARY
The Special Events Manager is responsible for managing the transporting, set-up, breakdown and safe storage of all special events equipment and vehicles. This position also assists in management of the food production planning, execution and efficient utilization of leftover product. The Special Events Manager must also provide overall planning, direction and control to all employees within the event; to achieve operating and financial goals, to ensure food quality, and to meet client objectives and/or customer needs. The Special Events Manager should be able to provide support to other businesses in the area when needed or in off-season.
