Guest Services Manager is responsible for managing concierge services and operations. Ensures concierge services help guests with reservations, travel arrangements, and suggestions for attractions or activities. Being a Guest Services Manager coaches concierge staff in customer service, and handles escalated customer service issues as needed. Monitors staff scheduling and shifts. Additionally, Guest Services Manager coordinates with hotel departments to deliver customer satisfaction and resolve problems. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Guest Services Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Guest Services Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Description & Requirements:
Performs a variety of duties with a primary focus on excellent customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist customers by answering questions in person and by phone
Execute policies and procedures professionally and accurately
Communicate with staff and guests clearly and professionally
Ability to give proper directions and knowledge of local area
Assist customers with recreation equipment
Accurately handle cash and register transactions
Maintain a clean and safe facility
Perform basic custodial duties
Assist managers with supervision of programs and activities
Required to attend all training sessions and staff meetings
Required to be ready to work immediately at time of scheduled shift
Any other duties as assigned
Pay Range:
From $16-$17 an hour
Qualifications:
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be at least 16 years of age
Excellent customer service experience
Cash handling experience preferred
Must follow all Federal, State and Local COVID mandates/guidelines
Working Conditions:
The position is located at a recreational or outdoor facility. Work may be done both indoors and outdoors. Most work will be done on or around ice.
Physical Requirements:
Position can involve sitting, standing, walking, running, stooping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and ice skating.
