Rolling Hills is searching for a Guest Services Staff for 32 hours per week to assist the facility with ensuring our residents needs are well taken care of from the time they arrive at the facility until they discharge. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who truly enjoys helping others, possess great communication skills, has great resolution skills, and is able to interact well with others. This role will also be involved with the admissions process.

DUTIES
v New Admissions – checking to ensure the room is properly prepared for their arrival
v New Admissions – Provide any new admits with a welcome bag and ask if they have any special needs or requests
v Greet the new resident/family on arrival and orient them to their new room/facility
v Familiarize the resident/family on how to control the bed, tv remote, phone and help them put away their belongings and settle in.
v If resident is arriving during mealtime, ensure they are given a meal
v Assist with Meal Pass and answer call bells as needed
v Clothes - remind resident/families that all clothes must be labeled before placing in their closet/drawers.
v Become familiar with each residents’ preferences so we can better serve them
v Frequent visits of the residents addressing their concerns if any
v Admission Paperwork – Having sign ins completed and returned to the admissions director.
v Menu Selections – assisting residents with menu choices and submitting them to the kitchen for processing
v Discharges – a discharge bag will be provided to residents discharging from the facility
v Show our appreciation to our residents for choosing our facility and remind them that we are here for them if they have any questions or need further services
v Encourage our residents to market our facility when they return to the community
v Admissions responsibilities will include one weekend coverage a month, covering admissions when the director is out of the office assisting with processing new referrals and bringing in new admissions
