Job Summary:
Job Title: Superintendent for Dark Horse

Location: Most Jobs are located between Portland and Eugene

Dark Horse is seeking a committed and seasoned Superintendent. This role will involve overseeing and managing all facets of excavation projects to ensure they are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate civil/excavation projects from start to finish
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including excavation crews and subcontractors
- Monitor and enforce compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Manage project budgets and ensure costs are kept within approved limits
- Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and quality

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the excavation industry
- Strong knowledge of excavation techniques, equipment, and materials
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in excavation work
- Valid driver's license

Preferred qualifications: Experience with Outlook and Excell Spreadsheets

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
