HR Data Analyst supports the design, deployment, and administration of operational processes used to deliver HR programs and projects. Collaborates with stakeholders to provide consultation, process design, and project management of HR program implementations and initiatives like compensation, benefits, performance management, or training. Being an HR Data Analyst implements scalable methodologies and tools to optimize HR operations and streamline core processes like onboarding, hiring, terminations, retirements, timekeeping, and others that make up the employment life-cycle. Performs employee data management and analysis processes to ensure that data is secure and maintained consistent with company policies and privacy regulations. Additionally, HR Data Analyst prepares and delivers required reporting and filings. May be responsible for the coordination of HR process outsourcing vendors and contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The HR Data Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Summary/Function:

    The HR Systems and Operations Analyst is responsible for helping to drive and maintain process improvement, data integrity, analytics, reporting, and special projects in support of departmental initiatives and programs. This role will report to the Senior Analyst and work in close collaboration with IT, FP&A Data Analytics, Payroll, relevant external vendors, and other members of the Human Capital team on the development, testing, and implementation of various departmental systems and processes to implement deliverables.
    Experience and Skills:

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, or equivalent experience.
    • High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros and advanced charting.
    • Experience with IT systems and programs, reporting tools, and user interfaces; prior experience with an HRIS system or Workday is a strong plus.
    • Technical proficiency and ability to understand data flows, mapping and source tables.
    • Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills, with strong detail orientation.
    • Experience in gathering, understanding, and documenting business requirements.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Prior experience working with sensitive or confidential information; prior experience within Human Resources is helpful but not required.
    • Customer service orientated, with the ability to proactively work with both internal and external clients.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under stress to meet agreed upon deliverables.
    • Self-motivated individual who enjoys working both independently as well within a team environment.
    • Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance.
    Duties:
    • Ensure system-related department processes and procedures are appropriately documented, updated, and maintained on all relevant systems including, Workday, learning management system, applicant tracking system and online application, YourCause volunteer portal, and other vendor interfaces as needed.
    • Develop and support Workday governance practices, including reviews, processes, controls, and project intake.
    • Find opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies; proactively explore and recommend additional avenues to use the Workday platform and better apply system capabilities based on HC team and other key partner needs.
    • Build and manage reports; ensure best practices are identified and implemented to support data integrity & hygiene as well as efficient and accurate reporting practices.
    • Participate in HR system improvements, implementations, integrations, and user acceptance testing.
    • Serve as primary day-to-day relationship contact from Human Capital with HR system vendors.
    • Engage in ongoing systems-related or other relevant training to deepen knowledge base as necessary and to stay up-to-date with software changes.
    • Assist in developing HR system training materials for employees and managers as needed.
    • Works closely with HC staff members to support the needs of the department and the firm.
    • Performs any other duties and special projects as necessary.
