HR Data Analyst supports the design, deployment, and administration of operational processes used to deliver HR programs and projects. Collaborates with stakeholders to provide consultation, process design, and project management of HR program implementations and initiatives like compensation, benefits, performance management, or training. Being an HR Data Analyst implements scalable methodologies and tools to optimize HR operations and streamline core processes like onboarding, hiring, terminations, retirements, timekeeping, and others that make up the employment life-cycle. Performs employee data management and analysis processes to ensure that data is secure and maintained consistent with company policies and privacy regulations. Additionally, HR Data Analyst prepares and delivers required reporting and filings. May be responsible for the coordination of HR process outsourcing vendors and contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The HR Data Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.   • ABM Industries is hiring an HR Data Quality & Compliance Analyst!  This is a critical role supporting HR data governance activities guiding the improvement and maintenance of the integrity of data to achieve, monitor, and maintain levels of data integrity fostering trust in people data; ensuring data quality continually fulfills business needs and creating business benefit as well. You will be responsible for the key deliverable of report and audits supporting our data and analytics governance framework to control, protect, and enhance the value of data and information assets throughout the hire to retire lifecycle. Applications include Oracle HCM Cloud along with other 3rd party human resources applications.

    This role is a Hybrid Work Arrangement (expected to be in the office 3 days/week)!

    Ideally, this role will sit in our Sugar Land, TX office, but candidates within proximity to our Chicago, Cleveland, NYC or Atlanta offices can also be considered.

     

    Essential Functions:

     

    • Responsible for supporting the HR data quality and compliance activities and processes to enhance and maintain the accuracy and integrity of ABM's HR data. 
    • Collect, compile, and analyze HR data and to deliver reliable information for stakeholders. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to develop and document of HR data definitions and ABM's application of these definitions. 
    • Gather, validate, and audit HR data from a variety of sources to report data analysis findings to stakeholders to inform business decisions and prioritize information system needs. 
    • Create accurate, repeatable, and scalable reports to support HR data quality audits ensuring reliable data and reporting.
    • Investigate questions regarding data and provide accurate and timely responses.
    • Participate on project teams and execute projects. 
    • Provide subject matter expertise regarding people data to HR systems end-users
    • Consistently demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization.
    • Responsible for employee data analytics, including but not limited to routine and ad hoc data analysis; i.e. headcount, retention, turnover, and vacancy.
    • Serve internal customers with a high level of service by proactively identifying people data improvements.
    • Applies ABM’s Mission Statement to Make a Difference and exhibits enthusiasm for and a desire to see ABM succeed.

     

    Qualifications – Education & Experience:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another relevant field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis with foundational understanding of people data.
    • Demonstrated experience with the technology in one or more of the following areas: Human Resources, Compensation, Benefits, Recruitment and Performance.
    • Critical thinker who finds opportunities to develop and improve people processes using data.
    • Demonstrated experience working with HR Systems and reporting.
    • Exceptional analytical skills.
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
    • Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations.
    • Knowledgeable about HR processes, policies, and compliances governing people data.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

     

    Additional Desirable Qualifications:

     

    • Strong experience using Microsoft Access, Excel, Power BI.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy; inclusive of data mining and ad hoc reporting.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
    • Understand HR systems, processes and databases including but not limited to Oracle EBS/HCM Cloud, ADP, JD Edwards
    • Some experience with PL/SQL (Programming Language/Structured Query Language) or other programming languages.
    • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team.

     

    Pay:  $70,000 – $100,000

    The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

    You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.
