IT HELP DESK / DATA SUPPORT ANALYST: PITTSBURGH, PA

JOB SUMMARY: CDS Administrators is looking for an Entry Level IT Help Desk/ Data Support Analyst to join our growing team! QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates Degree (or higher) in IT or a computer related discipline or a minimum of 3 years in an IT Help Desk Role
• Excellent working knowledge of Server / Client applications including Microsoft Exchange
• Excellent troubleshooting and technical writing capabilities.
• Strong working knowledge of: TCP/IP, Linux Command Line Environments, software development, Windows 7 & Windows 8 environments
• Ability to multi-task and complete projects correctly on time
• Proficiency in core MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must be able to utilize critical thinking skills to make educated sound decisions by utilizing the resources available.
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

IT HELP DESK / DATA SUPPORT ANALYST DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Investigate Desktop PC issues submitted through ticketing system; Identify and apply solutions for common computer problems
• Create & modify new and existing Microsoft Access Database queries for account manager reporting and reconciliation
• Install updates for windows based server operating systems
• Create/disable Active Directory user accounts for new hires and terminating employees
• Load electronic claim and eligibility files, from clients and carriers into benefits system, ensure system contains the most current data; Investigate error reports generated and review with team managers to correct any issues
• Document and maintain all technical procedures in easy to follow how-to guides
• Review support tickets and assign them to the correct technical resource to ensure timely response to all IT related requests
• Additional projects as assigned
• Ensures HIPAA regulations are followed. Ensures file transmissions follow encrypted protocols, staff are following guidelines for disclosure of PHI and ePHI, participates in team HIPAA risk assessment and training
