HR Data Analyst jobs in Sumter, SC
HR Data Analyst supports the design, deployment, and administration of operational processes used to deliver HR programs and projects. Collaborates with stakeholders to provide consultation, process design, and project management of HR program implementations and initiatives like compensation, benefits, performance management, or training. Being an HR Data Analyst implements scalable methodologies and tools to optimize HR operations and streamline core processes like onboarding, hiring, terminations, retirements, timekeeping, and others that make up the employment life-cycle. Performs employee data management and analysis processes to ensure that data is secure and maintained consistent with company policies and privacy regulations. Additionally, HR Data Analyst prepares and delivers required reporting and filings. May be responsible for the coordination of HR process outsourcing vendors and contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The HR Data Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be an HR Data Analyst typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

Job PurposeProvide support to the HR department to help drive business objectives in all areas of Human Resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assist with recruitment activities which includes setting up interviews and processing offer letters.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation of new hires.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters within the HR department.
- All other duties as assigned by manager.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
Knowledge of human resources regulations, state and federal employment law, and relevant administration practices.
Competent computer skills in MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of ATS and HRIS systems is highly desirable but not required.
PHR/SHRM-CP desired but not required.General Job Requirements- This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
