HR Data Analyst, Sr. supports the design, deployment, and administration of operational processes used to deliver HR programs and projects. Collaborates with stakeholders to provide consultation, process design, and project management of HR program implementations and initiatives like compensation, benefits, performance management, or training. Being an HR Data Analyst, Sr. implements scalable methodologies and tools to optimize HR operations and streamline core processes like onboarding, hiring, terminations, retirements, timekeeping, and others that make up the employment life-cycle. Performs employee data management and analysis processes to ensure that data is secure and maintained consistent with company policies and privacy regulations. Additionally, HR Data Analyst, Sr. prepares and delivers required reporting and filings. May be responsible for the coordination of HR process outsourcing vendors and contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The HR Data Analyst, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.   • SUMMARY OF POSITION 

     

    The Senior Specialist, Human Resources supports the US HR team activities, in particular recruiting, employee engagement, compliance, employee/labor relations, training activities and additional human resources activities as assigned.   

     

    ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

     

    The Senior Specialist, HR reports to the Associate Director Human Resources, and is located at the Norwich facility.  

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Interacts with various levels of candidates, Human Resources, hiring managers and external vendors to effectively support the recruiting process:
      1. managing requisitions (creating & closing), coordinating phone screens, interviews and all facets of new hire onboarding. 
      2. Maintains information on Applicants in Human Resources    Information System. 
    • Partners with hiring managers and internal business partners to ensure a successful on-boarding experience 
      1. Coordinates Orientation Events 
      2. Manages and maintains all new hire documents. 
    • Assist with annual compliance reporting including Affirmative Action Plan, VETS and EEO-1, and additional state and federal reporting. 
    • Partners with internal and external partners to coordinate and lead engagement events.  Maintains and promotes the company’s wellness program.      
    • Assists in preparation, coordination and presentation of training events 
    • Works with HR Team and Managers to ensure HR processes are complete and tracked appropriately.
    • Ensures all department policies and SOPs are documented and updated as necessary.  
    • Assist in employee/labor relations and investigations 
    • Partners with Security and IT department to assist with issuing and retrieving company equipment upon hire and separation.
    • HR Project Work as assigned 

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

    • Associate’s degree in HR, Business or related field or equivalent work experience
    • 5 years experience in a fast-paced Human Resources department; preferably in a small to mid-sized, growing organization 
    • Experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical and/or Union environment a plus.
    • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills 
    • Excellent verbal/written communication abilities; effective interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail 
    • Highly organized with strong follow up skills and the ability to multi-task and priority setting.  
    • Strong sense of urgency; ability to execute quickly and efficiently 
    • Team oriented with the ability to flex in support of the timelines, and deliverables of organization and team members 
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion 
    • Working knowledge of human resources systems, (preferably ADP – Workforce Now), Microsoft Office Suite of Products….Word, Excel

     

    This role will offer a base salary that is commensurate with experience and demonstrated skills in the $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 range.
