HR Data Analyst, Sr. jobs in Santa Ana, CA

Responsibilities:

• Transform raw data into formatted files for analysis.
• Clean, analyze, and refine data using tools like Excel, R, Python, and others.
• Verify data integrity, conduct preliminary analyses, and finalize documents.
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate results effectively.
• Analyze data related to pay equity, employment discrimination, affirmative action plans, and audits.
• Communicate analysis findings to individuals with varying technical backgrounds.
• Interact daily with legal counsel, clients, and staff, presenting analysis summaries.
• Apply descriptive and statistical techniques.
• Manage projects independently to meet deadlines and keep clients informed.
• Collaborate with team members to consistently deliver exceptional work on time.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, or a bachelor’s degree in another field and equivalent work experience in a quantitative field – Master’s degree preferred
• At least 2 years’ experience as a data analyst providing support for compliance, including preparation for audits, annual AAPs, EEO-1, and VETS-4212, CA Pay Data, etc.
• Advanced experience using statistical tools for analyzing large datasets such as R, STATA, SAS.
• Substantial experience analyzing, cleaning, and interpreting client data received in different formats.
• Experience with Python or R
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization platform
• Expert-level Excel skills and familiarity with MS Office suite
• Knowledge of SQL and comfortable querying databases
• Excellent verbal & writing communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with clients and presenting the results of analysis to clients.
• Ability to explain complicated analysis and processes to clients both orally and in writing.
• Team player, customer service focused, and expert in multi-tasking and prioritization.
• Innovative and problem-solving abilities toward continuous process improvement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $76,960.00 per year
