Your Role:

As an essential member of our team, you'll lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone can thrive. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Creating and maintaining a child-centered, trauma-sensitive atmosphere that encourages growth and development.
• Designing and implementing a dynamic, integrated curriculum that meets the educational, physical, and hygienic needs of our children.
• Collaborating with administration and fellow teachers to track progress and address any individual needs.
• Conducting assessments to monitor developmental milestones and communicate progress to parents.
• Building strong partnerships with families and city agencies to ensure holistic support for our children.

Requirements:

• Experience in early childhood education, with a strong foundation in curriculum development and assessment.
• Knowledge of Article 47-DOHMH and DOE
• Bachelor ECE and NYS Teaching Certificate (B-2)
• At least 2 years of teaching experience within an Early Childhood setting/ preschool
• Proficiency in Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
