HR Service Center Representative jobs in Brownsville, TX

Responsibilities:

• Assist Participants: Provide support and assistance to adults attending the day care center. This may include helping with mobility, personal care, and other daily activities.
• Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of participants at all times. Be aware of their whereabouts and follow emergency procedures (e.g., fire drills, lockdown drills).
• Activities: Assist with organizing and participating in daily activities, such as arts and crafts, games, exercise, and social interactions.
• Special Skills: Work with participants who have special needs or unique skills. Tailor activities to their abilities and interests.
• Companionship: Engage in conversations, listen to participants, and provide emotional support.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, activities, and any incidents.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with other staff members, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure holistic care.
• Hygiene and Nutrition: Assist with toileting, feeding, and other personal care tasks as needed.
• Medication Management: Follow protocols for administering medications to participants.
• Transportation: If required, accompany participants during transportation to and from the center.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with adults with special needs or disabilities.
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $10.50 per hour
