The Pines at Glens Falls Nursing and Rehabilitation is hiring a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to serve in our Talent Acquisition Department!

We will consider full or part-time applicants and are able to offer a flexible schedule! This is a Monday - Friday position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with our corporate Talent Acquisition Specialist in interviewing CNAs and Unit Aides who apply to The Pines. You will also assist in interviewing a portion of our LPN applicants as well as applicants to non-clinical roles.
• Accountable for the completion of day-to-day HR tasks such as filing, verifying references, and tracking performance evaluations.
• Assist in payroll as needed. Assist with updating schedules/shifts as needed.
• Meet candidates who arrive for on-site hiring events as well as assisting with off-site events.
• Ensure personnel files are in compliance with regulations.

Key Competencies

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of computer software, the ability to perform data entry, and basic office skills, responsible for remaining proficient in computer skills. Be familiar with spreadsheets.
• Presents a neat appearance with a pleasant speaking voice and personality.
• Must be punctual.
• Treats people with respect; Works with integrity and ethically; upholds organizational values and mission statement; supports affirmative action and respects diversity.
• Ability to work with confidential information and be discreet.
