Environmental Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Environmental Compliance Reporting:
Assist in compiling, analyzing and maintain records, data, or information necessary to prepare internally or externally required reports (GHG, EI, TRI, Tier II, SWPP, TSCA-CDR, stack testing); respond to agency requests; and verify compliance with Environmental requirements. - Compliance Testing:
Lead the planning and execution of compliance testing efforts for applicable business units to assure compliance requirements are met for both local and federal regulations. - Compliance Instrumentation Management:
Review of compliance data and management systems to assure system Calibrations, Alarms and Trends are operating properly. - Training:
Assist in the development of specialized education and training materials by conducting Environmental training programs to communicate hazard control and environmental compliance information. - Product/Service Management:
Assure parts and services are entered into SAP along with create work notifications for maintenance to maintain compliance. - Environmental Activities:
Conduct Environmental Audits and coordinate with site personnel to prevent potential NOC/NOV conditions and resolve corrective and preventative actions in a timely and professional manner. - Waste Management:
Assure waste is managed and handled properly. Includes coordination with vendor for profiling wastes streams/pickups and record keeping. Training of plant personal on RCRA requirements. - Ambient Air compliance:
Assist in Ambient Air Compliance Regulatory requirements (EPA & ADEQ Sampling, Systems Audits, Reporting requirements, Logger net-BGI-SASS, Meteorological stations/data) to achieve a 90% or higher sampling rate. - Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Knowledge of excel, PowerPoint, word, outlook, CEM Link, Aspen, LDMS, and SAP.
- A bachelor's degree in technical/engineering area is required.
- Must have 5-10 years' experience in the environmental field.
- 2-3 years experience in environmental or similar in the Mining and Cement industry.
