The Director HRIS and Reporting role within Crown Holdings, located in Tampa, Florida, is responsible for spearheading the planning, implementation, and management of HRIS projects to enhance overall human resources functionality. Additionally, this position involves overseeing reporting activities, including data collection and analysis related to social and HR activities.
Main Challenges & Complexity:
Managing a matrix organization with divisions operating autonomously in HR activities.
Understanding and mastering various technical fields such as labor, tax, immigration, social law across different countries, and HR processes.
Navigating a fast-paced business environment requiring quick decision-making and an agile mindset.
Main Responsibilities:
- HRIS Management: Ensure successful HRIS system implementation aligned with organizational strategies, overseeing customization, configuration, integration, and change management.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement HR process enhancements through HRIS technology, aiming to streamline, optimize, and automate workflows.
- Data Reporting and Analysis: Utilize HRIS reporting tools to generate meaningful reports, analyze HR data trends, and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
- Collaboration: Engage with HR teams, IT departments, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with organizational needs.
- Policy Development: Develop and enforce HRIS and social reporting policies related to data usage, access, security, accuracy, and compliance.
- Data Accuracy and Security: Establish procedures to maintain data integrity, accuracy, and security within the HRIS system.
- Stay Informed: Implement feedback mechanisms, stay updated on industry trends, and ensure legal compliance.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Quantitative: Includes metrics such as implementation timeline, budget adherence, user adoption rate, data accuracy, system uptime, customization success, and integration effectiveness.
- Qualitative: Covers project success, training effectiveness, and strategic alignment.
Communication:
- Internally liaise with HR VPs, CFOs, IT professionals, and externally collaborate with consultants, lawyers, and HRIS providers.
Other responsibilities and special projects will be assigned per business requirements.
Required Education, Experience, Skills & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent education/experience required. MBA or Masters a plus.
- 5 years related experience preferably in a large manufacturing corporation
- Extensive knowledge of HR processes, compensation, employee data management, performance, succession, etc.
- Experience with implementing and supporting cloud-based systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors with multiple modules.
