HRIS Director directs the operations of an organization's human resource information systems. Analyzes business requirements and determines hardware and software requirements to meet data management needs. Being an HRIS Director ensures the integrity of internal database files, tables and reports. May develop integrated web-based HR programs. Additionally, HRIS Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The HRIS Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an HRIS Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Position Summary:
Serves as the system administrator of the HRIS system. Develops specialized and/or highly technical reports as requested. Responsible for developing and maintaining HR system interfaces. Serves as the Technical subject matter expert for HR applications. Provides oversight of the Performance Management system. Provides technical oversight of the HRIS system maintenance, upgrades and new implementations. Provides technical oversight and instruction to HRIS Reporting Specialists and HRIS System Support Analyst. Works closely with IT and other tam on projects and serves as technical representative for the HR Department
