Analyzes business requirements and determines hardware and software requirements to meet data management needs. Being an HRIS Director ensures the integrity of internal database files, tables and reports. May develop integrated web-based HR programs. Additionally, HRIS Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The HRIS Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. The Director of Nursing provides oversight and leadership of nursing services to maintain state and federal regulations;Joint Commission standards; evidence based clinical standards of nursing practice; quality outcomes; and, excellent customer satisfaction. Responsible for management of MDS coordinators. The primary schedule is weekdays, with hours to vary as needed by the facility. There is a rotating weekend call requirement.
Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Bachelors degree preferred. Prior long term care nursing experience is required with two years experience in LTC nursing management preferred. Ability to obtain a valid New York State Registered Nursing License by date of employment required. Health Care Provider BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
