HRIS Manager manages and oversees an organization's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Develops, implements, and modifies software and hardware requirements based on changing business requirements. Being a HRIS Manager maintains internal database files and tables, and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of company management and staff. Provides the necessary training to meet end users needs. Additionally, HRIS Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to Director. The HRIS Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     SUMMARY

    The Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Administrator will support and maintain the organizations HRIS applications and modules.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    ·        Conduct massive data collection and transfer electronic files.

    ·        Provide systematic support through various programming languages.

    ·        Prepare and maintain HR related documentation, statistics, and reports.

    ·        Oversees and maintains optimal function of organization's HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.

    ·        Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.

    ·        Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.

    ·        Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.

    ·        Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.

    ·        Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.

    ·        Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.

    ·        Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.

    ·        Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.

    ·        Performs other duties as required.


    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    ·        Proficient knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, Python, etc.

    ·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    ·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    ·        Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills

    ·        Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    ·        Knowledge of HRIS business process configurations

    ·        Ability to build and modify custom HCM reports and calculated fields

    ·        Knowledge of creating, loading, and troubleshooting EIBs

    ·        Familiarity with Human Resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals

    ·        Ability to keep information confidential

    ·        Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

    ·        Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product

    ·        Appropriately handles sensitive matters and maintains confidentiality

    ·        Works well in a demanding and fast-paced environment, both independently as well as effectively within a team


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    ·        Preferred fluent verbal and written communication in Korean and English.


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    ·        Able to stand and walk the production area throughout the workday

    ·        Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by Hanwha Q CELLS USA, Inc.

    ·        Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

     

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    ·        Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required

    ·        2 plus years of related experience preferred.
