HRIS Manager manages and oversees an organization's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Develops, implements, and modifies software and hardware requirements based on changing business requirements. Being a HRIS Manager maintains internal database files and tables, and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of company management and staff. Provides the necessary training to meet end users needs. Additionally, HRIS Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to Director. The HRIS Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Purpose: The HRIS Analyst plays a critical role in the support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of HR Systems for Billerud North America. Billerud North America utilizes Ceridian Dayforce for Time & Attendance, Document Management, Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation Management. This role will provide critical support to the business on a day-to-day basis and may also provide specific support to business-critical processes and/or participate on project teams.
We are currently in a project to transition our talent management suite of HR Systems from SilkRoad Technologies to Cegid, the Global Platform currently in use by Billerud Europe. This transition will take place throughout 2024 and includes Recruiting, Talent & Performance Management, and Training and will have some integration with the BNA HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce). This role will participate in the project and will also have responsibility to build subject matter expertise in the Cegid system's HR process management to provide tier I (technical) support to BNA users.
