HRIS Manager manages and oversees an organization's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Develops, implements, and modifies software and hardware requirements based on changing business requirements. Being a HRIS Manager maintains internal database files and tables, and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of company management and staff. Provides the necessary training to meet end users needs. Additionally, HRIS Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to Director. The HRIS Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     Position Summary:

    We are looking for Senior IT Manager - HRIS / Legal Systems to join our team as a key contributor in the transformation and growth of our businesses. This role will sit on our IT Corporate Systems Team and will partner with our People & Culture and Legal Teams on the creation of our digital blueprint, technical roadmap, and delivery of our transformational growth agenda.

    Our company in-office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility and well-being with 3 days in office and Thursdays/Friday being remote, flex days.

    What You'll Do:

    • Own the strategy, design, requirements, configuration, user experience, and highest-level support within our enterprise HCM implementation
    • IT Business Partner to People & Culture Team to find opportunity and align technology with needs to drive business impact
    • Lead design sessions, provide thought leadership, and support the implementation of People & Culture (Human Resources) and Contract Management technology solutions
    • Identify new compliance, legislative requirements, policies, and procedures that may have system impact(s)
    • Evaluate current HCM (Human Capital Management) trends and practices, implement best practices, and provide value to increase HR and Legal capabilities
    • Develop/evaluate, select, and prioritize projects & project requests
    • Lead HCM transformation projects and change management efforts to ensure they are on time, within budget, and to customer expectations
    • Responsible for customer satisfaction, service level agreements and IT improvement plans
    • Responsible for the modernization and migration of Welch's legacy systems environment to a cloud first strategy
    • Additional duties & responsibilities as needed to support the business and IT transformation

    Who You Are:

    What You'll Need:

    • Bachelor's degree in IT, HR, Org Development/Psychology, Business, or a related field
    • 7 years' progressive IT experience required, preferably supporting HR and Legal functions.
    • 5 years' HCM experience and expertise implementing Tier 1 Cloud HR systems (such as Oracle HCM/SAP SuccessFactors/Workday, etc.)
    • Deep Functional knowledge in Core Human Capital Management (HCM), Recruiting (ATS), Payroll, Benefits Administration, Absence & Labor Scheduling, Integrations & Data Exchange, and Compensation
    • Functional knowledge of Talent Management, Compensation, and Succession Planning is a plus
    • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
    • Strategy and planning: Ability to set goals and lead cross-functional team to execute objectives
    • Excellent organizational, time management and negotiating skills
    • Builds and retains relationships with business and technology colleagues
    • Shows consistent and appropriate responsiveness to both urgent and non-critical matters
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products: advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
