HRIS Manager manages and oversees an organization's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Develops, implements, and modifies software and hardware requirements based on changing business requirements. Being a HRIS Manager maintains internal database files and tables, and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of company management and staff. Provides the necessary training to meet end users needs. Additionally, HRIS Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to Director. Job Summary
The Project Manager - HRIS will be a primary figure in leading the day-to-day project planning, execution coordination and tracking, and facilitation of change (both technical and non-technical) across the company for major business system implementation projects – new software implementations (Deltek, Procore or similar, HRIS, etc.). This role will work with internal IT, HR, business leads, 3rd party vendors, and other Dennis Group stakeholders to guide projects to successful completion by applying sound project management practices and demonstrating individual leadership in problem solving, communication, and critical thinking throughout the project lifecycle.
The Project Manager (PM) will evaluate, develop an implementation schedule, and coordinate with all impacted groups on the implementation and training. In addition, the PM is responsible for delivering successful project outcomes while building relationships and working collaboratively with IT and HR leadership and personnel to properly resource project work effort and address issues to drive increasing levels of project predictability and visibility. The PM will draw upon his/her experience managing complex technical projects in a fast-paced growth company environment and must be capable of situationally calibrating process rigor to suit the project. Success in this role will require the ability to draw on and apply best practices in traditional and agile project management methods to build plans, manage resources, and deliver results. The ideal candidate also has experience in Deltek, Procore or similar construction management software programs and HRIS systems (Paylocity, UKG).
