    Starting Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 (depending on experience)

    Job Summary:
    The HR Information Systems Support Specialist provides first level support to system users, manager, and employees for the HR and payroll systems. This position provides support that includes testing of system changes, resolving and documenting of issues, and provides end user training.

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Perform research and troubleshooting to determine appropriate response/solution for user tickets.
    • Collaborate with HRIS Analysts on support issues that require second level escalation.
    • Create and maintain training documents, quick reference guides, and process documents for system fixes and issues.
    • Provide training and resources to system users as necessary.
    • Develop and execute test plans for projects and system changes.
    • Run reports and queries regularly and communicate any replication errors to appropriate persons.
    • Provide proactive suggestions for process improvement and application enhancements.
    • Serve as a collaborative team member and participate in Best Practice implementations for the HRIS Support department.
    • Act as a subject-matter expert for all HRIS's including SAP, SuccessFactors, Workforce, UKG, ADP, MyTools, and other HR related applications.

    Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or GED. While not required, preference will be given to qualified candidates that have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar field. Equivalent training and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • At least 1 year of previous HR experience working with an HRIS or Payroll system.
    • Possess a customer service mindset, high professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
    • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
    • Previous experience working with SuccessFactors (SAP) is preferred.

    Additional Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
    • Understanding and familiarity with HR/Payroll business and functional processes.
    • Ability to work efficiently with team members from different geographical locations and expertise backgrounds.
    • Ability to work effectively and independently on assigned projects with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.

    Physical Demands:
    The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
    Travel: This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
