    POSITION SUMMARY

    The HR System Analyst will maintain the integrity and reliability of the organization’s HR system, UKG, ensuring applications meet the needs, requirements, and objectives of the HR department and overall company. This individual will be heavily involved in any and all projects related to the HRIS system, including acquisition-related integration of software. This position ensures the organization has trusted and business-ready HR data that is valid, accurate, and complete to support HR reporting and analytics.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure functionality, accuracy, and efficiency of all HRIS business processes and workflows.
    • Lead data quality and audit processes and practices.
    • Drive efforts to standardize and simplify processes, while identifying creative and innovative solutions.
    • Collaborate with HR staff and organizational leadership to determine the short- and long-term department and system objectives.
    • Assess current system and utilization; identify and recommends improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize the value and efficiency of the HRIS.
    • Prepare reports and present findings and recommendations to HR leadership.
    • Identity, recommend, and program custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, and reports.
    • Collaborate with other analysts and HR staff to plan, modify, and customize the HRIS and to test new applications and features.
    • Develop, update, and reviews system documentation (SOPs).
    • Serve as an advisor to end users, providing user training and hands-on support, both internal and external to the department.
    • Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
    • Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • 0-3 years’ experience with HR business systems, including relevant training and/or certifications.
    • UKG Pro experience is highly preferred.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • High level of initiative and demonstrated ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges.
    • Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
    • Ability to keep the information confidential.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
    • Thorough understanding of functional analysis and system design.
    • Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.
