HRIS Administrator

Location: Dalton, GA
Classification: Hourly, non-exempt (12-month contract)
SUMMARY
The Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Administrator will support and maintain the organizations HRIS applications and modules.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Conduct massive data collection and transfer electronic files.
· Provide systematic support through various programming languages.
· Prepare and maintain HR related documentation, statistics, and reports.
· Oversees and maintains optimal function of organization's HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
· Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
· Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
· Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
· Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
· Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
· Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
· Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
· Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
· Performs other duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Proficient knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, Python, etc.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Knowledge of HRIS business process configurations
· Ability to build and modify custom HCM reports and calculated fields
· Knowledge of creating, loading, and troubleshooting EIBs
· Familiarity with Human Resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals
· Ability to keep information confidential
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
· Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product
· Appropriately handles sensitive matters and maintains confidentiality
· Works well in a demanding and fast-paced environment, both independently as well as effectively within a team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Preferred fluent verbal and written communication in Korean and English.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Able to stand and walk the production area throughout the workday
· Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by Hanwha Q CELLS USA, Inc.
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required
· 2 plus years of related experience preferred.
