HVAC Supervisor supervises and coordinates the operations, maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Oversees the installation of new units and replacement parts and ensures work is completed according to company, product, or engineering specifications and established safety guidelines. Being an HVAC Supervisor conducts quality testing and inspections. May authorize equipment, supplies, parts, or repairs purchases. Additionally, HVAC Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Requires an HVAC Mechanical State License and EPA Section 608 Certification (CFC). Typically reports to a manager. The HVAC Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an HVAC Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Responsibilities:
The right candidate will be responsible for supervising a process production team. This individual must maintain excellent quality, sanitation, safety and production standards for the shift’s operation.
Communicate with team members from Sales and Operations to ensure product orders are being delivered on time and effectively.
Make certain that sufficient supplies and resources are available to meet the production standards. Ensure availability of adequate supplies and materials needed to meet and exceed productivity standards. Manage this team of employees by keeping them accountable for results to obtain certain goals and objectives. Adherence to GMP, Safety, and all other plant policies.
This position will provide an excellent opportunity for self-motivated, flexible individuals who enjoy challenging and diverse job responsibilities.
Requirements:- High school diploma or GED and 3 years experience in a food or beverage production plant in a supervisory role.
- BS. / BA, Degree preferred not required.
- 3 years or more experience supervising employees directly in a food production or beverage production environment.
- Strong preference to individuals who have worked in a refrigerated or climate-controlled environment and is monitored by the FDA.
- Ability to motivate and train people and monitor the safety & quality of the products produced and the safety of the employees managed.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish is a strong plus)
- Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
