HVAC Supervisor supervises and coordinates the operations, maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Oversees the installation of new units and replacement parts and ensures work is completed according to company, product, or engineering specifications and established safety guidelines. Being an HVAC Supervisor conducts quality testing and inspections. May authorize equipment, supplies, parts, or repairs purchases. Additionally, HVAC Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Requires an HVAC Mechanical State License and EPA Section 608 Certification (CFC). Typically reports to a manager. The HVAC Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an HVAC Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. HVAC Technician
Location: Asheville, NC
Pay Rate: $30-35/hr. (negotiable)
Shift: Monday to Friday. First shift
Key Responsibilities- Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings.
- Assures that equipment is being maintained in an energy-efficient, safe manner and downtime is reduced to a minimum by anticipation of necessary repairs and keeping records of past operating experiences.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in commercial HVAC systems.
