Requires an HVAC Mechanical State License and EPA Section 608 Certification (CFC). Typically reports to a manager. SUMMARY:
The HVAC Buyer is responsible for recording and tracking opportunities for increasing sales in the HVAC product segment. This position helps to increase sales and profit by supporting Branches in sales efforts by researching equipment specifications and supplying information upon request, efficiently and courteously assisting customers with selecting and purchasing products.

Utilize all software to maintain satisfactory levels of inventory at the DC’s and Branches. Forecast demand and place purchase orders to satisfy that year-over-year demand and any forecast growth or recession. Work with vendors, Branch, and DC personnel to obtain and coordinate RGA’s for the return of product for recalls, rebalancing, and any other situation that may arise. Report regularly on inventory positions and deficiencies identified to Brand Managers and the HVAC Division Manager. |
