Being an HVAC Supervisor conducts quality testing and inspections. May authorize equipment, supplies, parts, or repairs purchases. Additionally, HVAC Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Requires an HVAC Mechanical State License and EPA Section 608 Certification (CFC). Typically reports to a manager. The HVAC Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Positions for entry level apprentices, journeyman, and foreman caliber workers for both Sheet Metal Mechanics (installers & fabricators) along with Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, and Refrigeration Service Technicians. This multi-disciplinary trade requires a broad range of skill sets. The ideal applicant may have and will need a wide range of general skills and knowledge or a specific specialty niche focus. The key ingredients for a successful candidate are a strong work ethic, honesty, willingness to learn and become an active member of our union family.

Total package rates range from entry level Apprentice of $49.03 an hour to Journeyman at $76.94 an hour with collective bargaining rights for future wage increases.
