Oversees the installation of new units and replacement parts and ensures work is completed according to company, product, or engineering specifications and established safety guidelines. Being an HVAC Supervisor conducts quality testing and inspections. May authorize equipment, supplies, parts, or repairs purchases. Additionally, HVAC Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Requires an HVAC Mechanical State License and EPA Section 608 Certification (CFC). Typically reports to a manager. The HVAC Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an HVAC Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. HVAC Consulting is now hiring experienced, reliable HVAC Technicians in the Rockingham, NC area. This position is meant to be supplemental income - great for those with a full-time job or those retired from the HVAC industry.
In this position, you would be responsible for diagnosing damage to HVAC equipment, taking photos, and making repair and replacement recommendations based on the issues you diagnose. No repairs or maintenance is actually completed - only diagnosing/ troubleshooting the issues and reporting to our office.
