HVAC Supervisor supervises and coordinates the operations, maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Oversees the installation of new units and replacement parts and ensures work is completed according to company, product, or engineering specifications and established safety guidelines. Being an HVAC Supervisor conducts quality testing and inspections. May authorize equipment, supplies, parts, or repairs purchases. Additionally, HVAC Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Requires an HVAC Mechanical State License and EPA Section 608 Certification (CFC). Typically reports to a manager. The HVAC Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an HVAC Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Title: HVAC Service Technician
Job Summary: EMCOR Services Betlem has been in business for over 90 years, designing, building, and serving HVAC, refrigeration, controls and piping systems for new construction, renovation, and retrofit projects.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Respond to HVAC&R service calls as required/dispatched.
- Install systems as assigned.
- Boiler, RTU, split system, and small refrigeration system service experience a plus.
- Provide required support in estimating service work and coordination of projects.
- Communicate with customers and show a high level of customer service skills.
- Coordinate work schedules and materials as needed.
- Provide office with cost estimates for repair work.
- Comply with corporate policy on safety, work ethics and time constraints.
- Ensure that work is executed as scheduled.
- Assist and participate in the on-call program.
- Assist project and service managers with new accounts
Provided: Service truck, gas card, cell phone, IPAD, GPS, engineering and office support, and health benefits
Required: EPA certification; DMV and background check; drug screening; OSHA 10; Training Certs
