Hand Bindery Worker assembles and binds printed materials into books, periodicals and pamphlets. Performs a variety of tasks including measuring, cutting, trimming, sorting, and folding materials to produce finished bound product. Being a Hand Bindery Worker may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Hand Bindery Worker typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. Position Summary: sets up and operates drill, L-Sealers, Hand gluing, Hand work, Boxing & Sealing, operate MBO folder as needed, insuring each job is Produced to customer specifications and meeting internal and external deadlines; Maintains quality control and reduces waste or downtime. Collect and inspect samples for Q/A inspection prior to initial run and random samples during production.
