This is a floating position for three different locations, must have reliable transportation, and be willing to work late Wednesdays.

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support coworkers, doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. FULL TIME POSITION ONLY. Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. Wednesday 8:30 - 7:30

This position is hiring for three locations, East Lansing, Lansing and St Johns, must be willing to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Review and enter patient's vitals and medical history
• Room patients
• Update medical records.
• Take X-Rays when needed.
• When needed, call and get test results from hospitals
• Send referrals for testing as well as medications on occasion.
• Assist during medical examinations.
• Organize and restock exam rooms.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments.
• Clean exam rooms after every use

Skills

• Proven working experience as a medical assistant.
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and priorities work
• Social perceptiveness and service oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
