Hand Bindery Worker assembles and binds printed materials into books, periodicals and pamphlets. Performs a variety of tasks including measuring, cutting, trimming, sorting, and folding materials to produce finished bound product. Being a Hand Bindery Worker may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Hand Bindery Worker typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.     • Keep equipment clean and in proper working condition.
    • Report any equipment maintenance issues immediately.
    • Keep work area clean, organized and clutter-free.
    • Process, package and/or bale material in a timely manner as per company specifications.
    • Report all accidents, injuries or incidents to recycle center manager immediately.
    • Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.

    Required Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma.
    • Minimum 1-5 years work experience.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Exceptional time management.
    • Professional manner and strong ethical code.
    • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
    • Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

    Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at a time.
    • Communicate with others and exchange accurate information.
    • Operate a computer and other office machinery or equipment.
    • Ability to safely enter and exit all equipment.
    • Requires working outside in all weather conditions.
