Your Mission:As a Bindery Operator, you will:
- Machine Operation: Operate various bindery equipment, including but not limited to, folding machines, collators, saddle stitchers, and perfect binders.
- Quality Control: Monitor the production process to ensure the quality of finished products, including proper trimming, folding, and binding. Perform regular quality checks to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe and healthy working environment. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
Additional Qualifications:
- Highschool graduate or equivalent
- Familiarity with different paper weights, sizes, kinds, and colors to be able to identify paper conditions (i.e., excessive moisture or curling that frequently requires additional machine adjustment).
- Proficiency in configuration, tuning, protocols, functions, and constraints of machinery for executing a comprehensive spectrum of standard and specialized folding, collating, and cutting printed materials to achieve a final product.
