St. Joseph the Worker Day School is looking for a Director

The perfect candidate must have:

An Associate Degree in early child care education;

OR

A bachelor's or associate degree in a related field with 12 credit hours in early childhood development or early childhood education and 90 practicum contact hours in the field of early childhood;

OR

A bachelor's degree in a related field and a total of two years of relevant work experience;

OR

A degree in a business, management or administration field with 12 credit hours in early childhood development or early childhood education and 300 hours of work experience with young children.

Additionally, we are looking for someone who is dedicated to the position and is able to work in any classroom, as well as in the office. Candidate must be business savvy, love children, and should be kind, friendly, and professional.

Some Responsibilities Include:

Supervise the teaching staff and the daily activities of support staff who provide services to the center, and conduct monthly staff meetings.

Make curricular decisions and plans and supervises all aspects of the children's program

Communicate with staff members, children, parents, and the public

Scheduling of staff

Understanding and implementing licensing regulations

Classroom management

Work along side our office/finance manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,500.00 - $40,000.00 per year
