Market Worker Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions in person and over the phone, sharing knowledge of local products
• Checking out customers using the POS system
• Stocking shelves
• Processing deliveries
• Wiping down tables
• Helping with dishes
• Caring for produce
• Creating merchandise displays
• Completing opening and closing tasks including cleaning
• Working collaboratively with market team to determine who will complete what tasks when
• Working collaboratively with market shift leader to determine tasks and priorities for the day
• Working collaboratively with café staff to maintain prepared food displays

This is a tipped position and tips range from $2-$4 extra dollars per hour.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
