Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Farm Hand and Gardener. Blume Vermont is a small working flower farm. We offer private gardening services as well as floral design. We are looking for team members to help in all aspects of farming.

Duties:
- Assist with greenhouse operations, including planting, watering, and harvesting crops
- Perform general farm duties such as weeding.

-Working in the sun and rain
- Operate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of crops
- Assist with groundskeeping tasks such as pruning, mulching, and maintaining flower beds
- Use hand tools and equipment to perform tasks such as tilling soil, planting seeds, and harvesting flowers

-Operate tractor and other equipment

-Early harvest begins at 6am. Be prepared to work at 6 am some days.

Skills:

• No experience necessary, but I general interest in flowers is helpful
• Driver’s License
• Pride in your work
• Positive attitude
• Ability to lift 40lbs or more
• Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely
• Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
