Hand Compositor/Typesetters sets type by hand and machine. Assembles type and cuts in galley for printing articles, headings, and other printed matter. Being a Hand Compositor/Typesetters determines type size, style, and compositional pattern from work order. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Hand Compositor/Typesetters may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Bridger Canyon Stallion Station - training, breeding and boarding of show horses
Duties include cleaning stalls and paddocks, dragging arenas, stacking hay, moving horses and general barn and ranch tasks. Must be able to lift 60 pounds. Tractor, skid steer and ATV/UTV experience is a plus. Reliable transportation is important as we can get hammered by snow!
