Hand Compositor/Typesetters sets type by hand and machine. Assembles type and cuts in galley for printing articles, headings, and other printed matter. Being a Hand Compositor/Typesetters determines type size, style, and compositional pattern from work order. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Hand Compositor/Typesetters may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.     • Active NY State Massage Therapist License
    • Carry massage liability insurance.
    • Able to communicate effectively with clients, spa management and staff.
    • Knowledge of Swedish Massage required.
    • Knowledge of other various modalities preferred (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Craniosacral, Reiki, Deep Tissue), but not required.  Hand and Stone offers training in all modalities to our team members!
    • Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
