Hand Compositor/Typesetters sets type by hand and machine. Assembles type and cuts in galley for printing articles, headings, and other printed matter. Being a Hand Compositor/Typesetters determines type size, style, and compositional pattern from work order. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Hand Compositor/Typesetters may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Welcome to Township Line Road Farms! We are a family-owned and operated farm located in Western Ohio. We farm approximately 2,200 acres of corn and soybeans and have a Holstein/angus crossed cattle operation. Our main focus is the cattle operation where we have a feedlot where we start the herd at 300Ibs fats with multiple local locations. We are hiring a Feedlot Hand to join our team in Coldwater, Ohio (about an hour southeast of Fort Wayne, Indiana). In this role you will be primarily responsible for maintaining the overall health of our cattle herd on the feedlot.
This is a generational farm, and we continue to grow as we have tripled the number of cattle over the last several years. We pride ourselves on maintaining that family-like atmosphere and treat our employees as members of our own family.
