Hand Compositor/Typesetters sets type by hand and machine. Assembles type and cuts in galley for printing articles, headings, and other printed matter. Being a Hand Compositor/Typesetters determines type size, style, and compositional pattern from work order. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Hand Compositor/Typesetters may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Responsible for keeping inventory of stocked items, pulling jobsite equipment and parts. Responsible for keeping equipment and materials clean, painted, and sorted.
Basic reading, writing, comprehension, and arithmetic skills are required. Mechanical aptitude a plus. Outside / Inside work detail.
Must have a positive attitude and be able to work with others as a team.
Responsibilities :
Operate forklift Will teach if needed
Pulling materials and equipment for loading
Keep the facility yard clean and well-organized.
Power washing equipment and tooling
Painting equipment and tooling

Job Requirements :

Previous forklift experience (Preferred)
