Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Hand to join our team. As a Farm Hand, you will assist in various tasks related to farm operations and animal care. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Responsibilities: - Perform general farm duties such as feeding, watering, and grooming animals - Assist with the planting, cultivating, and harvesting of crops - Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment - Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm buildings, equipment, and tools - Assist with the construction and maintenance of fences, buildings, and other structures - Monitor and report any issues or concerns related to animal health or behavior - Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment Skills: - Experience working on a farm or in a similar agricultural setting - Basic math skills for measuring feed quantities and calculating crop yields - Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as tractors, plows, and harvesters - Knowledge of greenhouse operations for plant propagation and cultivation - Familiarity with power tools for construction and maintenance tasks - Ability to handle animals with care and follow proper animal handling techniques - Knowledge of animal care practices including feeding, grooming, and basic medical care - Understanding of animal husbandry principles for breeding, birthing, and raising livestock - Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues We offer competitive pay based on experience.
